Hello ah-mazing you!

Have you ever found yourself constantly fighting major cravings for something sweet and yummy? Struggling to prevent yourself from rummaging through the kitchen for sweets, especially chocolate, all throughout the day?

I Totally Understand. BEEN there. I genuinely know the struggle.. because I’m seriously a total sugar addict. I know first hand how tough it is to transform your body when you don’t know how to stop yourself from snacking on everything and anything that’s delicious. For years that was my life. I lived on sugary empty carb snacks, didn’t make fueling my body a priority, always felt bloated, drained of energy, and could not figure out for the life of me how to fix it.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. My life changed forever when I discovered how to make healthy treats that looked deliciously naughty and actually helped me curb my CRAZY sugar tooth cravings… Also, when cravings hit I no longer feel guilty!

Want to join in on the fun? Here’s a recipe straight from my sugar tooth curbing 30 Day Food Makeover Meal Plan.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Medium Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Cup of Oatmeal
  • 1 Scoop of Protein Powder
  • Optional ~ add crushed walnuts, raisins, dried cranberries, almonds, chocolate chips, coconut flakes…

Servings: 6

1. Mash your peeled bananas in a bowl with a fork ~ mash well!
2. Add in a scoop of protein powder and keep mixing. Depending on how ripe your bananas are, you may need to add a few drops of almond milk or water to make your dough the right consistency.
3. Lastly, mix in the oats.  Add any other toppings you like!
4. Use a spoon to drop the dough on your cookie sheet ~ be sure to coat it with non-stick cooking spray ~ and lightly press down to flatten. This helps it bake better!
5. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown! If they are still a little mushy, just bake for a little bit longer.

Does it matter what protein powder you use? I have a Forza Pro brand… and it’s vanilla flavor?

Hi Katie! Yet it matters. Lots of protein shakes out there are filled with so many extra fillers, carbs, and sugars that honestly will not benefit weight loss as much as if you had a better protein shake. Another thing to consider is whether the protein is concentrate or 100% whey isolate. Concentrate can bloat you!
We believe IdealLean makes the ultimate protein shake. I know because we use it, our clients use it, and we’ve seen amazing results. You want dramatic results, IdealLean delivers. It’s 100% whey isolate. And it’s formulated with vitamins and minerals us women need. It comes in delicious chocolate or vanilla!

    Hi Amy,

First of all, you look amazing, what an inspiration and motivation you give to all of us. Now, I hear you about the recommended protein which I will check out for sure. At the moment I have heaps of Maxines protein powder, would this one be suitable to use for the time being?

    Many thanks.

I’m looking to find a new protein powder, and see that you are recommending the IdealLean. But, after reading that it has Chromax in it, am a little concerned about unwanted side effects. Do all of the flavors have this and sucralose added to them?

    Thank you!

      Hi Sherri,

Yes, all of the flavors do contain Chromax and sucralose. I don’t know anyone who has ever experienced any side effects but I do understand your concern. Here is another protein powder we recommend. It is Hormone (rBGH/rBST) Free Proteins, Only 4g of Net Carbs Per Serving, Made with Natural Ingredients, No Artificial Colors, Sweeteners or Flavors, Non-GMO. Soy & Gluten Free Formula http://flatabsfitness.biotrust.com/Shop.asp?s=&View=Item&Product=3719

      Hi Teresa,

Which cookie recipe are you referring to? Yes, you can substitute with stevia. It may taste slightly different but stevia is a good alternative for sweetener.
